Hello my name is Melissa and Iam having the sleeve on June 1st,after it seemed like a century to go through the process. I started this journey back in early October 2014 when I went to see my primary physician she said I was morbid obese at 303 lbs the most I had ever weighed in my life. I had been up and down with my weight for years,the most I have ever lost was 40lbs,I came from a family that was obese,so genetics is not in my favor,especially on my mom side of the family. the smallest I could remember me wejghing is 175 lbs in high school. After having my twins 26 years ago,I never shook the weight,I done medical supv.programs,liquid weight loss programs,diet pills,took meat out my diet,but weight never stayed off. My oldest child did the sleeve in 2012 and has lost well over 100 lbs and thats when I said I have to do this. Now I find out a few cousins and friends also had it done,my bestie is having the sleeve on May 26, so we can support one another on this journey.
