Hello everybody!! My name is Phyllis Bossack-Sampson and I am 33 years old and I live in Philadelphia, Pa. I have two wonderful kids and they are 6 and 7. I am married to a guy his name is Phil. I am unemployed, but currently looking for work.
I found this site on google, just looking to see if people are having some of the problems that I am having after the surgery. I had my surgery May 29, 2014 and I have lost 82 lbs so far!! I feel really good and I am glad that I had it done. My surgeon is Amy Cha at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, but I had the operation done at Presbyterian Medical Center. I got the surgery done because I was really overweight and I needed to get back into shape, especially for my kids. The good parts of having the surgery is that I am rapidly losing weight and my back which was giving me problems before feels better. Also, my triglycerides were high, but now they are not. The bad part of all this is that I have sleep apnea, which I was on a cpap machine, but I stopped using it. My sleep dr. said I need to go back on it, but I refuse to use it. Other than that, I am as healthy as a horse. I didn't have problems with my heart, I didn't have high blood pressure, and no diabetes.
