    Tonight I am going to a Les Mills Body Pump class... 60 minutes says you burn 560 cals & you are using weights too.

    How much do you work out? I am 10 weeks post op.... Just wondering how much everyone does. I see some do, some don't. Just wondering who does & what? I know Doc's say too much will hinder loss because of muscle gain.
  5. OMG!!!!!!!! I JUST ATE salad FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MONTHS!!!!! IT WAS GLORIOUS!!!!!!!! Ohhhh thank you God! I have missed it sooooo much!!!! So do you eat it alone as a meal or do you pair it always with something? Mine tonight was a chef salad, so it had Protein in it as far as meat protein. My dressing was balsamic vinegar and light olive oil.

    Yup. Aside from some dairy in the form of cheese (I HAVE to have my cheese) I eat pretty much paleo. I was very strict up until I'd lost about 75% of my weight in about 8 or 9 months, then I incorporated a little bread and crackers in the form of whole grains into my diet. I limit it, and don't do Pasta at all and very little rice. I kept it pretty simple. Prepare meats or fish in various ways, and salads or green veggies for dinner. shakes or eggs for breakfast. Tuna, chicken or seafood salads, or lunch meat roll ups for lunch. Nuts, cheese or jerky for Snacks. Repeat. Like I said, pretty boring and simple. But it works for me Seriously no joke, you sound just like me! ???? I have to have my cheese too. So that is my paleo cheat lol but yes I eat boring too.... & simple. I try to stay away from snacking on nuts or almonds because I know cal count can add up if I don't watch how many I eat ...I do deli meat & cheese roll ups, tuna, chickens, meats etc. No breads, rice etc.

    @@Jen1 I am so excited to find new recipes & try them out! Will check out the white bean also!! Nice thing is my kids will also eat these recipes too! So win win! Hubby is picky lol so he won't lol I wish I was close enough to join the cooking classes!! That's awesome!!!! What an awesome extra perk!!!!!

    @clueless2002 I also pintrest a TON of paleo too!! ???????? I don't think it is fad... Everyone has opinions now a days on everything lol someone would have an opinion on do we REALLY need air?? Lol haha ???????????????? joking .... I do what works for me & what has worked before surgery ( I should have stuck to it though) was always cutting carbs... The BAD CARBS. And so far since surgery I am sticking to it strick as can be & healthy & its working for my body & I feel great ???????? so I am with ya!!

    I should have clarified... I don't eat rice, pasta, breads, potatoes, etc. I do eat fruit & veggies.

  20. I love tall boots & haven't trued them on yet! I need to!!!!! ???? I have gotten into my old jeans from 3,years ago & that's soooo exciting to me! I haven't worn jeans in 3 years! I don't like the way I look fat in jeans so I never wore them. I LOVE LOVE LOVE jeans! They truly are my guilty pleasure lol,???????? so getting back into my jeans has been HUGE for me!! I think I will try tall boots this weekend!! We are going pumpkin picking this weekend with the kids & for once its so nice to WANT TO BE IN PICS with my family!!!! I actually am excited to get up on Saturdays & get dressed & do my hair & makeup & go out! Because I feel sexy! For years I felt disgusting & never wanted to go out or get out of PJs or yogas. I love to shop for clothes more! I can't wait for Christmas!! Lol

    I joined a gym yesterday & did a kick boxing class! I love kick boxing .... Love high intensity workouts. Today I feel sore! LOVE THAT!!!! ITS WORKING!! ????????????????????

    I jog/walk in the pool. Get you some good supportive Water shoes. I have Tevas. It's much easier on your knees and feet, but you get the same benefits. I do aquafit 5 -6 days a week and them do the jog/walk 30 minutes after. I have a waterproof iPod shuffle that I can download music and audiobooks on. It helps pass the time. Ohhhh that sounds fun too!!!!! I love being in pools!!! I didn't know that jogging in water was same as out. Thank you!!

    Ok.... Today I walked 3.2 miles outside ???? I drove it first around my neighborhood to get the mileage to make sure it was 3... & I walked it then... Was a little over at .2 lol ???????? going at it tomorrow too. Going to start incorporating half run walk minutes to help increase my running endurance too. ????????
