I am 1 week out and still having issues getting all my fluids in but I am able to eat yogurt now and cream soups. From what my doctor said that's all a part of my fluid intake so I'm happy to be able to advance. I bought silicone ice pop makers and made crystal light ice pops. That's seemed to help. -

I have a total of 5 incisions. 4 are really tiny and I can't even feel them the 5th one is where the stomach was pulled out of. -

Do you have stitches or glue? I went to have my nails done today, and then I went shopping a little. I think I over did it, I really need a nap. I am going to limit the distances I drive until I have my follow up appointment. I have 4 that are stitches and 1 that is staples. -

Do you count your protein shakes in with your liquid intake? I drank 32oz of water and had 27oz of protein shakes. -

So I am on my pre-op diet day 1 - so far I have had 2 shakes and 24oz of water with crystal light. 2 questions.. * should I be eating even if I'm not hungry? 8am shake 11am shake and I'm not hungry. * if you check out the pic attached it shows my intake. Should I be concerned with the carbs? -

I am going to look into BLIS. My cost is 15k out of pocket. That covers 1 night at the Hotel Princeton ( aka Princeton Medical Center...this hospital literally looks like the Four Seasons Hotel lol) and my surgeon fee. -

I start my pre-op diet on Monday. I am dreading that! I went for my testing which took forever and then I go to my PCP for clearance on the 8th. My date is Monday the 13th. -

Yes!! I find it easier to get my 64oz of water in with a straw. I start my pre-op diet on the 5th but I have all my pre-op testing on the 1st. I had to switch surgeons because I am self pay but I am seeing my original nut on the 2nd. I want to make sure I have everything ready and I'm prepared.
