Surgery Weight: 217 Current Weight: 194 (DOWN 23 lbs) Pre Surgery size-20/22 Current size-16 Concerns: Getting all my Water in. It's like a job unto itself. I have to purposely think about it or I won't get it all in. I only get 96 ounces in every once in awhile, usually I'm doing good if I just get in 64. Joys: It is so great to go "shopping" in my closet and be able to wear clothes I haven't worn in many years! Exercise: I'm really bad about this too. My surgery date was March 24th.

My doctor has a 1 month travel ban too (he didn't tell me about it, but it was in my post op instructions I received at my pre-op appt). I had to attend a funeral out of state about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks after surgery and told my doctor. He let me go, but sent me with 2 shots of blood thinner for the two flight days and firm instructions to walk every hour to prevent blood clots. He said by that point, I was probably ok, but he wanted to have an abundance of precaution.
