I have a friend that is 2 yrs out and he still struggles with no appetite. I do believe we all are different on how we feel . I enjoy everyone's advise and ideas because I do need your support and help that is what makes this work too is the fellowship we have to help each other because we all have started from the same . Can't sit in that chair cause you are to big people looked down at us because they just never could understand our situation. Only all of us can understand and support each other and know the excitement on every pound lost is life gained. THANK YOU all for helping and your input -

I don't think I am getting that much in calories. I barely hit 500 calories maybe that is why the doctor said I need to eat more times a day since my stomach will only except about the amount of a boiled egg. So I think you are doing great compared to what I intake . I had better get on the program better lol -

100 carbs is alot i couldn't take that in. I can only eat about a portion size of a boiled egg right now so it is easy for me to eat low carbs. My protein shakes are my life savers since my intake is so small. -

My sleeve was done on may 11th -
Don't worry we all go through that stall. And about eating the solids just be gentle on starting them. Because your mind goes nuts as in oh this is good . Lol . You eat right and stay on your program you will lose. I am 8 weeks out and I still have energy issues . But I am still losing weight. Keep up the good work . Remember stalls are normal even if your doing everything right. This will pass

I forgot to reply to when i got my knee replacement. It was 5 weeks after my gastric sleeve surgery. So i believe this is what set me backwards a bit. It is a struggle for all of us. I can't expect you guys to be my savior. I understand i need to just suck it up which i am doing. The advise has helped alot thank you to all i believe i can make it through this . I am mentally struggling with the pain. I hate mediations.

Thank you . You hit that right on the nose on rehab on the knee it just makes it tough when you feel like sleeping all the time but I am getting back into the swing of both rehabs at the same time. I do understand the rehab on the knee I am looking forward to the mobile side of things . They said 9 weeks minimum to go back to work but I don't see that for my job I work in the oilfield and it is tough so I want to be 100%. And I will be

Not too well . I have to force myself to eat. No energy . In alot of pain because of my surgery to my knee. Not getting my liquids in can't seam to force down enough protein shakes.very week I want to sleep all the time. I have lost 60 lbs from my surgeversarry though

Repeatedly overeating
Mooseknuckle replied to NoBsVs's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Good for you I think you are right in some aspects. I for one got a divorce once and I didn't eat nothing for 2 weeks . That was not healthy but when I did start to eat it wasn't much and the lbs just grew so fast then I lost weight on the Atkins diet then gained twice what I lost 6 months later . And all this time I ate small portions . Then my job kept me busy all day and I ate at night and went to bed . I gained 150 lbs in 2 yrs because of that. Not a whole lot of emotional eating there but I do love my food . And crave all the bad stuff once in a while. I am 6 weeks out now and still can only eat 3 teaspoons of food . Which I am totally happy with. I have lost 43 lbs so far. Food addiction is what I call my problem so I have moments of mourning for my food lose lol. At times -
I believe i am doing everything all ok except i do find myself not getting enough protein. I have lost 43 lbs now and Monday is my week 6 surgaversarry. And on Tuesday the 23rd they are doing a total knee replacement. Doctor said my knee was too bad to do anymore injections. So i should have a bionic knee afterwards lol not really but i have to keep a positive attitude. I went out to lunch with my wife today and i ate 3 teaspoons of soup and a baby sized bite of her fish and i was so satisfied and full . I look at all the food on her plate and i say wow that is alot of food. So my mind is set in the right gear lol
