Well my weight gain started several years ago.
I have worked in the oilfields since 1980 off and on. Due to the oil industry
In 1985 I fell 25 ft off an oilrig and fell to the sub floor
I landed on a steam valve which stuck me in the back like a fish hook.
I have had 7 Back surgeries .I was paralyzed in my left leg after the fall it had severed the nerve that operates my left leg. The surgeon grafted the nerve back together. I ended up with 20% of the feeling back in my leg. The Quad muscles would work so I could flip my leg to walk. I had a brace that held my foot at 90 so I could walk. With the good lords touch I slipped and fell about a year later. This tore the scar tissue that had built up on the nerve and it regenerated 85%. Yes I know it doesn't sound possible but it happened and that was the worst pain I have had in my life to have that nerve come back alive. It took about 2 yrs of therapy and lots of weight gain in this time I had went from 250 lbs with no fat at all to 345 lbs. I struggled with this up and down for years after this . I am working in the oilfields again and have now for the last 20 yrs. In this time I have went up to 448 lbs. 2 bad knees, a bad back ,High blood pressure, Borderline diabetic, hydlahernia (That is probably spelled wrong).I decided to do something about this so for the past 2 years I have struggled to loose 100 lbs . then it started going back up again to 360lbs at surgery date. I want to be here for my Wife, Kids ,Grandchildren,Family and myself. I have so much to do in my life. I am 56 years young and want to stay that way. The Hyadila Hernia ripped and it damaged my sleeve .I had to have it repaired and have a revision surgery to a gastric bypass April 2 2018.
