I have to force myself to get the Protein and adequate nutrition in. I love my sleeve. Best decision I've made, I just wish I would've had it sooner! My scaled was stalled for two weeks... Dietician said make sure I was getting my protein. Started really focusing on the protein and viola! I lost 5lbs this week. My new protein drink of choice- syntax nectar. I've only tried the strawberry kiwi but my friends (non bariatric) drink them too and like the lemonade -

I have finally found a way to get my protein in... Syntax nectar on the go packets. Flavorful- add to bottled water. Today I drank mine with ice. Strawberry kiwi. 23grams of protein per packet. I've also added eggs into breakfast. I went two weeks without any weightloss. Once I added more protein in the scale moved! I lost 5lbs this week! Keep at it! Remember this is a TOOL, we still have to work at it! I can't wait to be cleared to exercise. -

It was tough at first. I had to review all day and could NOT sit comfortably without a lean that looks TOTALLY unprofessional! Lol. I sipped all day. I can't stomach anymore Protein shakes! Yuck! I came home and had some soup. I feel great now, all stretched out in bed! Lol. I had a hard time reaching for things on my table too. But I know the walking up and down the halls was beneficial. I CANT wait for this large incision to heal! 8 more days until summer! I am in arlington.. Where are you? Did I mention that I was a teacher? -

I am struggling to get any protein at this point. I'm sick of all of the current choices of protein. I tried to eat blended soup last night and I came to the conclusion that I must be still swollen inside. This is day 7 post op. I feel lots better today. I'm still not sleeping through the night. Up every 2-3 hrs. Wish I could sleep on my side! I can't wait for that one sore side to go away! I go back to work tomorrow. EEK! -

I have PCOS too. I was sleeved on the 18th as well. My surgery weight was 250. I am still swollen from all the gas. That was my biggest pain. I woke and felt like I couldn't breathe. I have yet to be nauseated, but I keep my nausea cream on me at all times. I started my premier protein yesterday because I couldn't drink my Unjury, I just couldn't drink it... BLAH. But the premier is delish. It's not clear but my dietician said I could start it. I go to dr wed for week 1 post op appt -
I had mine done May 18, baylor trophy club. Dr smith.
