    I'm so tired.....

I was exhausted all the time too. Horrible feeling. I had to take naps just to get through the day. I am 4 1/2 months out now and finally getting better. Still tired but I don't have to have naps now. Good luck...it does get better!!

    Soft Food Stage

    Thank you Daisee68
  3. I think it's better to go slow and follow the stages...it is designed that way for good healing. As others have said...listen to your body!!! It will let you know real fast if something isn't going right. I was on clear liquids for 7 days then full liquids for couple weeks then pureed foods and just now to soft foods and my surgery was May 1st. I still am having trouble eating and have to go real slow.
  4. I had my surgery on May 1st. Just had an appt. a few days ago and I am down 41 lbs. I am now in the Soft Food Stage. Just having issues with tolerating some foods and looking for recipes and foods that may work good for me
  5. Does anyone have any good recipe websites that will help with this stage? I am having a hard time
  6. I had gastric bypass May 1st at UPMC Magee Womens in Pittsburgh with Dr. McCloskey. I just had my 2 week follow up with her on Tuesday. I am 19 lbs. down and doing well. She said I am on target. I have had a great experience at McGee. Everyone has been super supportive and helpful. I really like Dr. McCloskey, she is very confident in her work and cares about her patients.
