Does anyone know when this series started? Watching the first episode I seen that they did the long cut down the stomach instead of laparoscopic.

in that one episode I watched, the older guy said something that if he was a woman they would have approved skin removal surgery but not for a man. I don't know if that is true or not but that would be interesting to know.

I watched the first episode last night and I am hooked! It was 330 am so I couldn't watch more but I can't wait to watch more! Oh and I had to google Stone to Pound conversion so I could know what they weighed. lol

I got home last night and watched both episodes. I really wish we could see a two year journey for some of them, I hate waiting for update shows. As far as skin tight, I think the woman looked great. The guy looked okay but again with the chest! The nipples just look out of place on each guy. Maybe it's because I don't look at men's nipples that I don't really know where they should be. lol

I found full episodes on youtube as well but have yet to watch them. I looks really good though.

my thought is maybe they will get so many complaints from viewers that they will do a better job! then I might consider it. lol but again, I don't think I could ever feel comfortable on TV showing all that.

@@Daisee68 I've thought a lot about it and as of right now I would say no because I think they could do better at the skin removal. But once I'm at goal and see all the skin I might change my mind if I couldn't get it on my own depending on the cost! It would be a tough decision though because I don't even like my picture taken now. lol

Did anyone notice after Skin Tight last week that they were looking for participants? Would any of you consider the show? I'm not near my goal so it's not an option yet.

you would think someone who was wanting to get WLS would have researched enough to know that if you can't keep food down then there is something wrong. I am glad he finally went to the doctor though.

Oh I know about being a hard head, I was glad that when I tried sweet stuff I got the headache. It stopped me from having more. lol

oh okay, well I had the Sleeve. I think it was the best choice for me. I didn't want any rerouting of my insides. I also didn't want to be on several Vitamins the rest of my life. I take some now but I believe you take more with the bypass. It's really up to you and what you feel is right for you. Although a lot of people say they don't get dumping syndrome with the Sleeve I can tell you that sweets give me a horrible headache and make me feel bad and I'm almost a year out. Which ever you decide on, one tip would be to not bulk up on Protein and other items before surgery. Your taste for them will change after and you don't want to be stuck with stuff you don't like anymore. Oh also this site is great for resources and support. Lots of supportive people on here but you will find those who will be a pain in the butt with their comments. Just ignore them like we all do!

hahaha I see you tried the Isopure drink! those are freaking gross but some people like them. So you are pre op? are you doing a pre op diet now or are you looking for ideas for after surgery?

That bugs me too, only one person so far who had lost weight the easy way like we all have! ugh...but I can't stop watching either. lol

I lost 145 so far and I'll be a year out in Feb. Got another 100 or so to go. @@Margie122 I round up too! lol
