Congratulations to all you June 8 losers! I started at 205 and am now at 160. I am definitely a slow loser but feel better than ever! I play tennis 4 days a week and go to spin class, zumba and have a personal trainer. Becoming a 62 year old monster!

Sorry I am late Stephh, 161 this morning.

@@Elode Good luck with that run! Yesterday was my first day on the liquid diet challenge and I played tennis for an hour and a half, went to work and then did an hour of spin class. Spin class almost killed me! All I could do to just get through it! I am loving this challenge! -

I did not see this challenge until a couple of days ago but it looks fantastic! I do not have problems with snacking, getting enough protein or overeating but I do love my wine when I get home after work and working out at the gym. I know the wine has slowed my weight loss but my GP also wants me to slow the weight loss down! I am going to start this challenge tomorrow and stay off the scales until next Saturday! Thanks Elode! -
I will finish the challenge at 164. Thanks Steph!

165. Slow but sure!

Still 166 this week!

I felt sorry for my husband who would not be eating out and I would not be preparing big meals anymore. The night before starting the 3 day liquids only phase, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Ruth's Chris Restaurant. I had no guilt or regrets but I was definately ready to make major changes in my life!

167! 3 pounds in a week after a 3 week stall! Yippee!

I am 3 1/2 months out from surgery and have lost 37 pounds including pre-op diet. I am definately a slow loser but my hair is great and even at 62 years, my skin is keeping up...sort of. I feel great and at 168, my clothing size is just about changing every 2 weeks. I have relaxed into the journey and no longer have that sense of impatience. I realized that unlike any other "diet" I have ever been on, this is a lifestyle change and I will never be able toeat the way I once did. Might as well sit back and enjoy the ride!

@@Hisbrowneyedgirl You are looking amazing! I am also a June 8th sleever. I started at 205 and am now at 168. Wish my loss was faster, definately a slower loser but feel fantastic The bionic has really helped and my hair is thicker than before!

Primary physician not thrilled
Shustar replied to Gina.marie's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had WLS in Mexico in June with ALM. I saw my GP last week and brought him my medical records from the surgery. He was delighted with my results and also asked why I chose to go to Mexico. I told him that because I was under 40 BMI and my insurance has such a high co-pay that it was less expensive, more comprehensive with longer hospital stay and aftercare and eliminated the whole cumbersome pre-surgery process. He was totally understanding and supportive of my decision. He also said he does not understand why the insurance companies do not actively support this surgery to get people into a healthier lifestyle in a more efficient manner. -
Netflix what are you watching? Which series do you love!?
Shustar replied to woo woo's topic in The Lounge
Narcos is a new series on Netflix and as the mother of a DEA Special Agent, is excellent!
