I am kind of worried about the same thing, I had my very first consult with my surgeon a few months back, Had to get a psyc eval, Attend a pre-op class and all of that.. Now all im waiting to do is have my nurtional evaluation. I am right on the borderline of 39-40 BMI, I'm worried when I go back in and they weigh me, What if my BMI falls under 40 because I as well- Have no co-morbidity? I would really hate to be denied for 1 point on the BMI. Any suggestions? And then my surgeon said everyone is required to lose 15lbs on their own before surgery... This will drop my BMI way down, or does that not matter because my original weight is what counts? Someone help!
