Hello. I had my sleeve done April 2015. Started off great lost about 90 lbs. when I went in for follow ups a few months later, doctor felt I was losing to fast and was sent to the ER to get IV. Since then, I think I became fearful of being sick or admitted. It's 2 years later and I have been stuck for about a year. I can tell my stomach has stretched and gain a few lbs. it's truly getting me down, feel stuck and don't know what to do. I feel like I'm failing and haven't seen my doctor since... fearfu. I don't want to have all I went through to be in sin and want to get back on my road.

I had my surgery on 4/22/15 and it was a tough recovery but finally back on my feet and doing great. I had my gallbladder out at the same time. But the weight loss has been great. I am down 30lbs. But for the past 2.5 weeks I have been on a stall and I don't know what to do. It's kind of upsetting and don't know what to do. ????

Great to hear of your weight loss. I had mine on 4/22 and things going well besides a lot of gas and reflux. I am into week 3 and seem to be experiencing a bit of a stall. Did you experience that at all? -
Insurance denied me :/

Don't give up. I went through such a fight with my insurance and they did the same thing. Came to find out that my employer was behind blocking me to do it. I had to fight with them when I found out and push to the highest positions via my benefits department and the insurance. They tag team to discourage patients because they don't want to pay for it. I fought with my benefits team and also have my surgery write letters to prove it and went to the benefits and fought them. Sometimes the employer changes the criterias to make there own requirements. Don't give up. I didn't and a week before my scheduled date I was approved on 4/22/15. And I have United too!!! Be persistent and always take there id #
