I am right there with you - sleeved the same day, down 22 pounds including preop, now kind of stalled. I think we have to be patient and trust the process. -

I'm 63 and had the surgery 2 weeks ago. My surgery went well and the recovery has been pretty smooth. My only issue right now is that I get tired easily, but I've been assured that I will feel better in a few weeks. I've lost 20 pounds so far, including pre-op, but the weight loss has slowed. My NUT tells me it's primarily because I'm considered a "lightweight ". My BMI was barely high enough, even with diabetes. It may take me a while, but I know I will reach my goal. -

I'm on day 1 of protein shakes - It's helpful to see your posts! My surgery is June 30. My daughter had the sleeve and says this is the hardest part!

Started my 2 week mostly liquid diet today. I can't have any caffeine and I can't take aspirin or NSAIDs to deal with the headache. Feeling grumpy but I will get through it. Any suggestions? I wish I had stopped the caffeine earlier...

My Dr. said i can shower in the hospital the day after surgery.

June 30! I start the Liquid pre-op diet on Tuesday the 16th. I can't believe this is really going to happen!

My BMI is right at 35 and I have type 2 diabetes. My insurance is paying. I should be getting my surgery date tomorrow and I should be sleeved in about 3 weeks. I believe I have to do the regular 2 week preop diet. I'm excited but nervous!
