My name is Robin and I recently underwent Lap-Band surgery. I am like 10 days post-op and have been adjusting to reintroducing foods. I decided to do the Lap-Band because I feel it is less invasive and also it is something that you can have removed later, if you choose. I have over the years made several attempts to lose weight and would have temporary success and would soon hit a plateau after losing like 10 lbs., that has been very frustrating, to feel like you are doing all you can to no avail. I needed something that would help control my appetite and I feel that this is a great tool. I discovered this website through Google search engine, and I plan to use it to its full capacity. I found myself searching YouTube trying to find others that have undergone this process, just so I could connect with others that are on this journey and are sharing in their journey. I find myself needing to talk or ask questions to see if what I am experiencing is normal or what to expect ahead. I am looking forward to being able to do things that have been such a limitation for me before and just enjoying life without feeling weighed down.
