I've seen and heard a lot but I'm not very clear on this subject. Is everyone discharged after surgery with that drainage catheter? The one that should be there from 4-6 weeks? If so how do they determine who keeps it and who gets it removed at hospital?

I've been so excited and waited for this moment so much. Whatsoever today is my first day of 14 of pre op liquid diet and I am anxious and hungry. Had a Boost Glucose control strawberry shake this morning and sugar free drink. I am hungry and wish I could eat at least mashed potatoes. Any tips for hunger pain? -

I suffer from GERD ( reflux and excess acid) and my surgeon ruled out the sleeve since it would make it worse. -

How's your exercise routine? Sometimes if adding weights or building muscle mass the scale can go up . Don't get discouraged if you're doing what your doctor says. Best of luck!!! -

Weird night for me as well. I want the same , I've been through so much waiting for this day. Whatsoever I find myself very emotional, like I'm saying goodbye to my old self . I don't know what's going on , my surgery date is 5/28. I'm a bit scared too. Good lunch be blessed I wish that all of your dreams come true -
