After the first 4 days that were not fun, things turned around. Over the last 3 weeks, I have lost 18% of my fat. Everything seems to be working as expected. No pain. Taking a Zantac meds and it is helping me so much.
I did find out that I screwed up my meal plans. Before surgery, I was allowed shakes, yogurt, oatmeal, Jello, ricotta cheese in my liquid phase. I only had 1 day of clear liquids before surgery. So when I came home on day 2, I had a yogurt. 2-3 small spoons. I have been eating 200 - 400 calories ever since. Today I found out that was a no-no. But he said it didn't hurt me. He said it is mostly about tolerance. And if I was tolerating it fine then I could continue. Tomorrow I can add anything I can puree and tolerate.
I'm not advocating my screw up. So please don't take it that way.
I am just very happy with my decisions to do this surgery. My energy is supper high. My attitude is great. My family is really helping me.
I do have a thought that is helping me with my attitude. I was thinking about getting a new car, or furniture, or somthing like that. You take care of that item extra careful. That is how I feel about my new little banana tummy ( I hate the name pouch). I paid a lot of money for it. I want to treat it really well and take care of it.
I'm just rambling.
I wish the best of luck for all of you. This is a journey. I hope it goes well for all of you!!!
