    Help! Pre op diet!

I know you posted the list grom your doctor but I'll tell you what I use. The pre-mixed Muscle Milk has been my favorite. I can buy it at Sam's Club in bulk 11oz size and if Im on the go I can find it at most gas stations. I prefer the 100 calorie chocolate flavor because it seems thinner in texture. Comparing to lots of other pre-mix protein shakes its lower in calories, carbs and high in protien plus glutrn free and lactose free. I did have other shake mixes at home that I've used in the past but since surgery I cant tolerate them.

    Recipes

For my quick fix on pizza, I dipped a cheese stick in pizza sauce and a couple slices of turkey pepperoni. And for the pasta part made turkey meatballs and added whatever sauce I was craving at the time, red, alfrado, or pesto. I didn't even miss the noodles because the taste was so flavorful. Hope that helps!
  3. As a part of my bariatric treatment, we are scheduled for post-op PT. (physical therapy) and my physical therapist told me that the incisions as heal still will develope some minor adhesions. Advised me to lightly rub the incision sites just to break up those tiny adhesions and gave me an exercise to lay on a roled blanket placed down your spine. The natural weight of your body will breakup the deeper adhesions, this will cause some slight pain as these get stretched. Otherwise some comments on they feel it more in bed explaind that they are stretching which is a good thing! Happy healing!!

    Hello

Doing well I think, no nausea and not much pain with surgical sites. I do recommend if you're having surgery soon invest in sime silky or slippy PJ's it makrs it easier to turn in bed! I have been sipping on wwater and my protein shakes throughout the day and its still hard to get the recommend amount in. I still feel bloated from surgery, cant wait until that goes away. Hoping the up coming sleevers have a good experience as im having.

    Hello

Hi, want to leave a quick note here. I have been reading the forum for sometime but finally joining in. I am just about 13 hours away from my sleeve surgery! I'm so excited but my poor 11year old is so scared. Brings me to tears that she has to worry so much.
