I'm getting sleeved this Tuesday, 5/26 and I'm incredibly nervous! I keep freaking out and panicking but I have to keep reminding myself why I'm doing it. This site is definitely helping. I didn't have any food funerals, which sometimes makes me sad, because I didn't think of even doing that, but I'm okay. I love to cook so I'm really excited for a new relationship with food. I'm nervous about having surgery in general and making a gigantic decision when I'm just 23 years old but I'm excited for the journey.

I'm having the same problem! I probably looked like a crazy person at work running to the bathroom every ten minutes! I think it's supposed to get better - your body will adjust to the amount you're now drinking.

Thanks! How long have you had the sleeve? How's your social life doing now? I've been super stressed about how that will all change too...

I honestly can't believe I haven't cheated. I guess I'm too anxious about the surgery to do it! I've also basically been a shut-in for the last week while I'm doing liquids. It helps to not be around food. My 10 day liquid diet became a 9 day diet thought because it was supposed to start on my birthday and my surgeon said I could start the day after. =)

I'm May 26th! Any other Massachusetts sleevers? I've got some nerves about just having surgery in general but I'm excited! Also, anybody under 24 or so getting the sleeve soon? It's weird for me to be getting it at 23 when I haven't met anyone else as young who is!

I'm May 26th and don't have to be there until noon. I'm very nervous, but excited. My anxiety is going crazy though. The shakes aren't too bad but I've had a cold this week and couldn't smell all the delicious food my family has been eating! I'm so shocked that I don't miss Diet Coke. I've loved diet coke forever but I haven't found myself missing it at all during the liquid diet.

I'm going into this single and probably going to be single for a while while I go through this! But it's more important to me. Three days till my surgery.

Congrats! That's great. =) I'm so nervous because I had to get cleared by a cardiologist for chest pain I was having. They said I was all set but it still makes me nervous! I'm also very scared of leaks!

Good luck! It's rough at the beginning but it gets easier. Just think of the end result!

Thanks! =) I've been doing the EAS protein shakes and the premier protein ones. I was thinking about getting unjury too, because I have a hard time getting protein in.

That doesn't sound too bad! I wish I could have fruit and veggies. I miss bananas! They didn't tell me to do clear liquids the day before but I think I'm going to anyway!

I started my job about three months ago. It's nerve-wracking being in a new place and making such a big change but it'll get easier! It took everything in me just to tell my manager and HR because everyone in my office (which is small) is skinny. I'm getting more anxious the closer my date gets. Excited but anxious about surgery in general and just about how much my life is going to change. I wish I had found this website earlier in my process!

Is anybody else allowed to have Greek yogurt? It hasn't been too bad for me with yogurt, soup, and protein shakes. Are you guys doing broths at all? Have you bought any to prep for after? I'm doing my last bit of shopping this weekend and want to see if anybody has good ideas or brands. =)

My surgery is on Tuesday in MA as well! I came down with a really bad cold this week, so my surgeon said to update him on Sunday night to make sure I'm okay...I'm feeling the same anxiety too; it's so scary making a life-changing decision, especially when I'm only 23.
