I am done with all my pre-op appointments - Im in "bariatric shake mode" for 2 weeks and my surgery is scheduled for May 21st. PB2 (Protein Peanut Butter powder found at any GNC) does wonders for the taste of these shakes! They taste better with Water then the milk suggestions - and the PB2 makes the chocolate one taste like Reeses Pieces. I struggle on weekends more with the liquid diet then I do at work - my suggestion is to make your daily allowance ahead of time - drink a little at a time through day if need to - and drink water in between. I also have sugar free Jello I snack on, and that helps too.
