I use Unjury I get it from unjury.com. -
7 weeks postop. I'm eating the required 800 calories per day. 70 - 80 grams of protein, and drowning in water. I'm still at a stand still in the scale. It's got to give up sometime! Hopefully soon!

Newbie here --- my surgery was March 24, 2015
mamaD posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hi all, I'm so happy to have found this forum! It's a relief to find people with the same kind of journey full of trials and tribulations! Since my surgery I have only lost 9lbs. I have been very disappointed with the scale since the surgery. My surgeon has set a weight loss goal of 35lbs when I see him in June. I'm not even close to that! I'm hopeful that I can get some really good advise through these forums to help me get back into weight loss mode. I am logging in myfitnesspal everyday, I'm going to the gym everyday, most days I get at least 70 grams of Protein in, the only thing I do struggle with is my Water. I'm not sure how you all can get it in and not drink with meals or 30 mins after. Maybe some one has some good advise for that. At this point I can't say that I'm happy I had the surgery, hopefully someday soon I can say that. -
I am starting to test that theory today. I'll keep your posted

I lost 42 lbs in the 6 months prior to surgery on March 24, 2015. I saw my surgeon 2 weeks after surgery and he set a goal of 35 lbs by my next visit in 3 months. This is now mid May and I've only lost 9 lbs since surgery. I've been stuck now for weeks and I'm so disappointed. Im logging myfitnesspal everyday, im going to the gym everyday, I don't get it! The only thing I can think of is I'm eating sugar free foods and I've suspected in recent years that sugar substitutes prevented me from losing weight. Any ideas?
