This site was recommended by my nutritionist consultant that explained pre and post diets. I have wanted weight loss surgery for more than 7 years, various thing got in the way, I have had the VGS, was 364 or 369 at my highest (about a year ago) then I suddenly started losing weight without trying very hard, I had been changing my choices but not enough to account for the change, I had dropped about 40 lbs and found out at that time I had diabetes Type II. I started a 6 month supervised diet, went to classes for DM diet education (gained 10 lbs up to 324 lbs), got off that and lost down to 309 to 307 (two weight in hosp right before surgery). I was done on 4.29.15 and now to 289.1 lbs. I have gotten quit a lot of encouragement and information. I'm not really into group things but do want to increase my chances of success. The worst, and unexpected parts was severe fatigue for the first few days or more. I have my energy back now, still tender but healing well. :D
