I had Fallon up until the day before I started with the program, (then my company switched to BCBS of MA). Under the Fallon plan, they would have required me to be in the surgical program for four months, and then assess then.
  3. I was sleeved on May 4th, starting weight was 407,, and as of right now, I'm down to 384, in 6 days. That is of course only drinking protein shakes, and clear liquids (which have consisted of water, and diluted cranberry cherry juice since Ive never been able to tolerate fake sugars), so I'm sure it'll slow down once I'm on pureed foods
  4. Thanks for the tips everyone,, it's much appreciated
  5. Ok, thanks for the tips, appreciate it. I have my post op follow up with my doc on Tuesday, so i'll probably talk to him about it then
  6. Yes, i've been on Omeprazole 20mg since I was discharged
  7. Hi, I live in Haverhill, and just had my sleeve done at LGH by Dr. Jiser on Monday Dan
  8. Hi Guys, Newbie here, had my sleeve on Monday, was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday, and i've had a relatively complication free week so far, I'm able to keep down liquids just fine, and haven't felt the need to vomit or anything since the moment I woke up in the hospital. However, last night, I woke up choking on, what i'm assuming was stomach acid twice last night, and just wanted to get some opinions before calling my doctor's emergency on call number. Has anyone experienced this so close to surgery before? and, could the choking possibly have done anything to the staple line? Thanks for the help! Dan
