Had my first fill today in the London Independant Hospital. 4.5 mls in, but I am not sure what the capacity of my band is. Not looking forward to 3 days of fluids but I did three weeks on the milk diet pre-op with no problem!! Weird!! I am fecking starving!! Not to worry! I am looking forward to working with my band and losing at a steady rate.

Hi there milton5a!! Great to hear about your surgery date. Don't worry about negative comments re. your band as most are probably meant well but people are ill-informed about the procedure. I chose not to tell anyone about my op except my son and partner because I did not feel the need to, nor did I need encouragement or want advice from friends or family. By the way I wish I had my band fitted when I was your age!!!:clap2: Best wishes, Josie.

Hello all, I was banded on 21.12.07. OK so far but not sure how I should be feeling. I dont know anyone else with a band to compare notes with!! I live near Cambridge by the way.:high5:
