  1. Hello everyone, my name is Dominique! I am 19 years old! I'm from Boston Mass, though I currently live in Florida. I'm studying to become a veterinarian and currently have my Vet assistant license issued to me by the state of Florida. I work part time as a Junior processor at a mortgage company and got to college full time! I'm 5'0 and weighed 195 prior to my gastric sleeve surgery. I had the sleeve done April 29 in Tijuana, Mexico. I am about 2 weeks in and have already lost 16 pounds! So far I have had a lot of ups and down from the surgery, and sometimes wonder if I got it too young or jumped into it too soon, but I've been getting a lot of support from family members and friends and am slowly getting stronger and more sure of my life changing choice! I hope to meet others out there with some of the same concerns and worries as me so we can get through those together! I'm a very friendly person and enjoy making new friends, so don't be afraid to message me! When not talking about my surgery I enjoy chatting about anime, animals, writing, books, music, interests, and pass times! I know a decent amount of Spanish and Italian for those who wish to talk in those languages! Thank you for reading!

Hello Danny! My name is Dominique, I am new here too! I'm 19 years old and had the sleeve done April 29th. I was required to do the two week diet. It was hard. Seeing as it's not a requirement, I suggest you try to start limiting your food intake and try to transition into soft foods as that's what you need to eat 2 to 3 weeks after. It was hard for me and honestly still is! I kept waiting till last minute to stop eating junk and now that I am recovering, it's hard to not eat all the food I use to haha. I've lost about 17 pounds so far which is great! I have my grandmother already getting me clothes as gifts for when I go down sizes. Lol. If you ever need someone to talk to about changing eating habits or need some support you can always come and message me! I wish you the very best of luck with your upcoming surgery!
