You have to want it bad enough in order to succeed!
MzStockton replied to melissa39437's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
That is a true statement....no excuses, you gotta fight through the temptation!! -
Goal was to loose 100pds the closest I got to that goal was 77pds and over the course I've regained 17pds. I've been enjoying eating bad food even though I'm eating very little so today I've made the decision to STOP THE MADDNESS AND TAKE CONTROL!!!!! I'm beginning the regain maintenance program through the Bariatric 101 plan on FB(they provide a link), drinking more water and exercising at least 3x out the week(NO MORE BEING LAZY & GREEDY) wish me luck!!

Well I'm almost two years post op 3mts away and I still have like 50lbs to reach my overall goal with the most lost almost 70lbs with a wt gain of 12lbs. Just seem like I can't get back on track I can't just not touch things I shouldn't. I have my days or weeks I do wonderful then I add back in bad stuff here and there. Everyone tells me how wonderful I look but no one knows that hey she haven't lost as much as the think. I really want to shed these pounds and need some helpful advice and solutions on what to do.

You look great, keep up the good work. I'll be 1yr out next week and I'm excited to say I've had no complications nor complaints besides 5-6 episodes of acid reflux [emoji30]other than that I'm glad I had vsg[emoji4]

One yr out next week and lately I have a few episodes of acid reflux. Not sure why since I don't recall eating anything spicy or drinking anything that contains a lot of caffeine at the time of these episodes and I've been taking my ometrazol just wondering have anyone else experience such and what you noticed may have caused it and what you may do that helps.

No matter your current weight loss either you feel it's too fast, too slow, or right on time. We made a decision to become a healthier "you" therefore cherish it, love it, and [emoji2]at it. Sleeved 9/25/15 with a 60lb loss 40more to go. I look and feel great and I'm so loving the soo many compliments, I'm so glad I made the decision to have vsg. I'm blessed to be one of the ones with "NO" complications, "NO" food restrictions, & "NO" acid reflux/gerd[emoji4] I'm able to do much more I couldn't do months ago, as simple as a jumping jack(which I can do 50 now), a sit up(I can do 25-50 non stop, jog(I can do at least a lap), push ups(I can do 50). Exercising has become a huge part of my lifestyle changes and I'm very proud of myself and my journey in becoming the new me. -
Wish I was losing faster
MzStockton replied to jgeldmacher's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I agree you're loosing at a great rate. Don't want to loose to fast, give your body adequate time to catch up. Plus I noticed throughout my journey it's not so much of how much you consume it's what you consume. Great work! -
What’s the ONE thing you wished you knew before getting sleeved ?

How Often Do You Weigh Yourself?
MzStockton replied to psvzum's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I weigh weekly, but if I feel as if I didn't make good food choices I may the next morning -
I believe anything is successful if you put in the necessary work in order for it to be. If you get on any diet or have any procedure done thinking it's going to be a miracle or problem solver then they are WRONG!!! I believe that's the BIG problem that people is looking for a quick fix, a miracle and don't want to put in the work or make changes, life changes. Me myself I've made changes but still fighting the fact theses changes need to be life changes in order to reach my goal and remain there plus to be the healthiest me I can be. But one thing that makes me different from some others I can and will admit what I do wrong, try to correct them, and no why my scale don't move when I'm doing wrong. I must say you have done a wonderful job and I hope I can have such success when I'm that far out. Currently 9mts out/60lb loss/40lbs to go/anniversary date 9/25/16 emoji4]
