I am scheduled for 6/30. How was your insurance approval process? I've already had band out and awaiting vsg. Bndtoslv: You asked about the approval process. It was a lot easier this time. I have United Health Care. When I had the initial band surgery my insurance denied it and I had to pay out of pocket. It looks like the insurance companies are open to this type of surgery. The insurance representative said that they were doing a lot of band to sleeve conversions. I do still have to pay a really hefty deductible but at least it is not full price. Nancy
