Hi Brandymom1234 I have had my first band adjustment 4 days ago and have been having the same problem. I cannot eat any solid food without it getting caught in my throat and the only way i can get relief is to bring it back up. I am also worrying that maybe the band is too tight. The cramping and wind is also quite bad. I am going to ring the dr and find out if this is normal. I will let you know what he says. Hi My name is Jenny. I am into my 2nd week after surgery and have lost 5kgs in that time. I am on a liquid diet and i can honestly say i am over it. Can someone give me advise on how to cope until i can start my puree diet and when i do start the puree diet will i experience dificulties with getting use to food in my stomach again? Any feedback would be very helpful. :huggie:

hi Raya I was banded on 6/12/07 and am stugling with the liquid diet, especially when the family eat in front of me. I think most of it is in my head but i am looking forward to starting puree diet which will be on Christmas day. I too am going back to work on Monday and hope this will get my mind off food as well. jenny
