So i've just gotten my box of Vitamins that we are required to take. Unfortunately, the Calcium citrate is super chalky and doesn't taste the greatest. The other 3 aren't so bad. What other brands are people taking? I'm wanting to switch out my calcium citrate but it's so hard to fine it in a chewable or gummy form. I'm open to suggestions. Multi-Vitamin Calcium Citrate Iron B-12

What brand are the B-12 vitamins that you take? I could only find chewable but would love one's that dissolve so much better -
I'm 4 days post-op and have pain on the inside, a little above my belly button, not at my incision points. Im sure this pain is normal, but is anyone else experiencing or have experienced this pain? How long before it went away? Just looking for some insight from others. ☺

Good luck with everything! It is a challenge and going to be a long journey ahead. Not being able to eat foods, even a little is difficult, but in time, it will get easier. Food isn't going anywhere lol

Everything moved quite quickly for me as well. I had my first consultation with the surgeon on 3/26/15 and then I had my surgery on 4/29/15. They had several requirements I had to meet beforehand, psych eval, 6 months nutritional diet, 5yrs weight history... but I was able to get all my documents in order as quickly as possible. It's normal to think it may be odd but depending what your insurance and the Dr requires can make a difference.

I am 27 yrs old and 2 days post-op from having the gastric sleeve. I was nervous but have had a good support system through it all and am doing well so far. I mainly miss having a nice meal with my significant other. Anyone else still cook for their family or have things changed? The smell of the food is more of the tough part and not being able to taste it just a little bit. Anyone else having this same struggle? How are you coping?

@@proudgrammy Oh he's definitely supportive, I guess what I said came across the wrong way. He has made better choices but just the food in general smells good you know.
