  1. Has anyone had problems with leg cramps? I have been noticing leg cramps at night and I just had an episode this evening. I had lap band on 5/20/15. Eating plenty of protein, take multivitamin and calcium daily.

Could be a magnesium deficiency or my RLS gets bad when my thyroid med is off. You might have your thyroid checked?

Dehydration? That's what was causing mine.

I am on thyroid med for hypothyroidism. I ran to Walmart and got some magnesium and potassium supplements but not sure how much to take. I also drank a low cal G2. Doesn't seem enough in one of those to help anything. Maybe just didn't drink enough today, was at a family reunion so not my normal day, though the cramps have been happening at night for several weeks prior to this. I am not able to eat much fruits and vegs due to eating such a small amount. I think I need to see my PCP anyway, I haven't been since January. She can check my levels so we will know for sure what is going on. I ate a banana just now too, haven't had one since February! See what happens tonight
