@@edie091371 Thank you so much for your kind words. I was at work when that called and just felt like I had been sucker punched. I cried so hard I had to temporarily excuse myself. It was very heart breaking but I do understand this go happen and they happen for a reason. I sure don't want a surgeon with his mind somewhere other than on what he's doing. I'm ok this morning, just a set back. Thanks again, I wish you all the best and I love the support in this forum.

So.....after 5 days of being on this painful liquid diet, my surgeon's office calls today to cancel my surgery. Apparently, my surgeon had an emergency and placing me on the losers bench wasn't it. It has been hard accepting this not that I had much choice. Those were 5 hard days and I had them under my belt and now I will have to start over. No new date yet. I understand things happen but this just kinda broke my heart. I was so prepared.

@@dede0314 I am supposed to drink 5 a day. I also only got in 3. It's a lot harder than you think it will be. Only 2 days in and I feel like if I drink another one it will come right back up. It leaves a horrible taste in your mouth. I'm getting some sugar free hard candy today. I don't know if it is allowed or not but I think it is necessary lol. I can also have broth and the only I have tried so far is the unjury chicken broth, not my favorite either. The taste is so strong, like overpowering. What kind of broth have you had? I also have a really bad headache and I've been a bit snappy. I do hope this improves and I also hope that you feel better soon. We can do this but it's not gonna be fun or easy. Lol

@sooonergirl619 - so awesome to here! I am still in the hospital, too... Doing good here, as well I'm about 17 hours out and I have also decided to stay another night. How much/often are you walking.? My nurses here do not encourage me to walk, so I need to request it or just do myself. Also, I'm always nauseous after walking... When does that go away?They have me walking every 2 hours and at night every 4. I feel nauseous after too. I have a patch for that. Really sore on my left side too. I'm sorry you are sore but I see a lot of people saying they are really sore on the left side. I thought I would share what my surgeon told me during my final visit before surgery yesterday. He told me I would hurt the most on my left side, that is the largest incision because that is where they slide the stapler in to staple off the stomach. I know it doesn't help the discomfort you are feeling but at least it may ease your mind about it being normal.

I started my liquid diet today also. RNY on the 23rd, how are feeling tonight? How many shakes are you supposed to be drinking?

I will be praying for each of my family members to experience a complication free surgery and a speedy recovery so you may start enjoying this new life you have created for yourselves. We are all waiting in line to take a seat on this losers bench! We are rocking the WLS world!!! My preop is tomorrow, I will be thinking of each of you!!

I have the Mirena too and I really wanted to ask you if you had slow weight loss that you think the Mirena caused? I am having RNY in 2 weeks and I am scared the Mirena will cause me not to lose. Whats your experience? Good luck on your journey and I do hope your cycles disappear like before, that's why I love mine so good!! Lol

@@shamel811 Have you tried the unjury unflavored in anything yet? Had 1 person tell me that not only was it not unflavored it made everything taste vile. Though I have had another to say they liked it, was wondering how you did or did not like it?

I really hope so, I am so nervous. My stomach has been upset since I got the call. I'm just a bundle of nerves but there is so much support in this forum.

Thank you so much, I need something so much for this case of nerves. I started crying when they called today. ...the coordinator was confused, she said usually they are happy....I am just a basket case. I wish I could just turn my mind off!! I wish you the very best, we are really doing this!!!
