hi everyone when ur band is tight, what is easier for you to get down, hot liquid or cold liquid. i read that some dr.s suggest ice chips.. others suggest warm liquids.. just wondered what the general consensus is.. for example.. when you are tight, and you know its just that time of the month.. do you drink hot fluids.. or cold ice chips? thanks t

hi, my name is tracey and i am in perth and about to be banded on jan 21 2008 by dr couch. i am new to this site and just been reading all the posts. wow. its exciting. i just had my surgeon appointment last friday and to say its been a mindblowing process since is understating it. i am starting to get so nervous!! should i have tried harder in diets. yes! should i be doing this? hi cherry blue. i am similiar.. i had an appointment with my doctor GP on 8th december to get a referal to the surgeon. which was a saturday, rang the surgeon monday morning and they said they had a cancellation, and a spot for me the next day. i saw the surgeon on the 9th. tentative booking made for surgery jan 21.. providing i go away. think about it and come back and see him monday gone with my decision. i rang him back monday.. confirmed it. and now surgery is jan 21. wow.l talk about fast. but i knew i wanted it. my dad has had a lapband for 6 years, and my sister for 3 and both have lost a massive amount of weight.. i just had to come to the decision to do it myself as well. i have to start Optifast, total Meal Replacement jan 1.. wow.. what a rollercoaster ride.. i have msn if you want to chat more neil4tracey@hotmail.com i am 40, two kids, married and living in perth. ] seeya tracey

hi josh. i am new too.. and i have my op on jan 21 so just a week after you.. pretty awesome experience waiting for it to happen eh? so many things going through head.. adn for once, the hope that this time you may actually lose the weight.
