I'm one month post op. I'm mad most of the time, feeling angry at everyone and everything... I do hope these mood swings stop someday. I'm also having trouble keeping my diet ???????? that's my worst problem.

So I'm still in the hospital, I've been having a real bad time vomiting almost anything I drink, except Gatorade and Popsicles. I'll probably be here one more day. Yesterday I felt so bad I regretted my decision. My dr says it'll get better... I sure hope so...

I have my surgery programed for may 18th ... i don't have a pre op diet so i can practically eat whatever i want before the big day. I am just so scared i will miss food and all the nice things, i really don't want to regret my decision, sometimes i feel I'm too week... the other part of me wants this so bad!

This is absolutely, positively INCORRECT. hair loss is the luck of the draw. Some get a little, some (very few) get none, but most get it. I've seen people getting 100 grams of Protein, take hand fulls of Vitamins a day, use Biotin shampoos and vitamins, and still experience hair loss. Unfortunately it's just one of the side effects of the surgery. You can't tell me 99% of the people that lose their hair are ALL getting poor nutrition? Bull hockey. I haven't experienced it for myself since i haven't been operated yet. This is one of the things that scares me the most and that's why i asked her about this. Right now I'll do anything to prevent that.

Thank you MALAVEZ i do know everything is for the best. I'm glad you are doing good.

I asked my nutriologist about this, she said it happens when you have a bad nutrition... it's all about what you eat... most surgens don't send you to a nutriologist, but i chose to go to one because they are the experts in nutrition.

Suddenly a feel terrified about getting the surgery done. I have so many questions. Will I have a normal life? Will I have cravings and be able to control them? Will I be able to at least have a bite of my favorite desert? (My fat mind is doing all the questions)

@Davina's @LipstickLady @Mariod811 @Gladys62 @jane13 @Sonnie456 I'm truely thankful for your support. I don't know if you all had these concerns, I believe they are just fases. I will have my surgery done in a couple of weeks, I have yet to decide the date, But I will keep you posted on my process. I'm 24 years old and I have been overweight since I was 11 and I want to put a stop to it before I have a family. Thankfully I have the best surgeon's in my country (because it's two of them and they operate together) they have been very supportive and patient with me.

Thank you @@Davina's and @@LipstickLady for your answers. I know my mind frame will change at some point. You look amazing and the best part is that you feel amazing. I'm still getting adjusted to the idea, building my support group is essential for that.
