I am on my way to ALM. I have my surgery date of December the 20th and I already done my pre op testing on the 5th. I am officially a non smoker and I am so proud. I can't wait to get pass the surgery cause I am a nervous wreck. Any advice is welcomed

I'm just starting the supervised weight loss program. I have to that for 6 months before my insurance will cover the procedure. Do you have any regrets? -

I chose the sleeve because I don't have a lot of weight to lose, and I felt like it was the safest for me. I hope everyone choose the right one for themselves. I want everyone to be successful no matter what path they choose. -

I am going through that exact same emotions, and from the people I know that has had the surgery said they went through it too. I know one things for sure for me, I have been over weight far too long, my blood pressure high, back pain and knee pain. I am 100 pounds overweight and I haven't been able to get the weight off let alone keep it off. I am going through with it. Lol I am going to pray and keep pushing -

Low Vitamin D and B12 levels

Hi Newbie, I am new as well will be attending the seminar on March 9th and consult on the 16th. I am thinking that sleeve would be great for me. As for the low Vitamin D I've dealt with that last year. My doctor put me on a pill once a week and after about 6 months it went back to normal. She said a lot of people Vitamin D is low in the Midwest due to lack of sun -

I am just getting started with process and I'm in the same boat with a bmi of 40 with no comorbidity. I too am hoping to have a little sleep apnea. Lol
