Made it through day two...full liquids...yogurt, protein shakes, soup, broth, Popsicle and lots of water. Food seems forever ago already! June 8...the clock is ticking ⌛️ -

Food funeral? More like a wake for me! I celebrated all my favs like it was my job...now I'm on day two of liquids and I can't believe how much emotional unnecessary eating I really do! Well, did. That was then....The mental funeral is a lot harder than I thought already! Every day one at a time and never forget why I'm-we- are here in the first place! Stay strong ???? -
Timeframe - from decision to have surgery to getting surgery

Six months for me, too. Insurance required three months of nutrition/dietician classes (in a row) so from initial attendance at informational meeting in late November, through testing, met with surgeon, classes to now was six months. I scheduled my sleeve for June 8 (2 weeks) although I could have done it late May. Decided to finish school year before surgery! Hang in there...it seems like forever and the BOOM surgery date is right here! -
New to this site! Set to be sleeve 6-11-15.

What about medicines for type I diabetes like glucophage? Those pills are pretty big...cut in half maybe?
