Help ! I haven't pooped in 7 days!
AngelaWilliamsMD replied to jcrob's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
For immediate relief, an enema or a suppository may be of benefit. I am a strong believer in daily Miralax for chronic constipation, don't give up on that stuff. -
Still feel really fat
AngelaWilliamsMD replied to confusedgirl18's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Congratulations on your weight loss thus far. I suggest taking some pictures of yourself, like a before and after. This helped me appreciate how much my body has changed despite what the scale says. -
Whoa! Classification change

Well, I guess we all will have the last laugh when our BMI's are in the "normal" range! -

@@zoe4533 I'm so sorry to hear this! So, it sounds like you can elect for a revision surgery or just do things on your own. What do you want to do? Lots of people in your situation convert to a sleeve without any major complications...and tend to lose the weight quicker.

Psych eval was um...

Oh no! Don't worry too much, psychiatrists see everything under the sun. I doubt you'll have a problem. -
I'm afraid!
AngelaWilliamsMD replied to ericaacire's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Obviously both procedures are life changing. I wouldn't go forward with gastric bypass unless you seriously want it. You can always seek a second opinion if you are still contemplating the sleeve despite your EGD findings. -
@@jlmgg Give yourself some more time, I'm sure you'll start to see your stomach go down soon.

Cash Pay - Revision Cost
AngelaWilliamsMD replied to Soli3l's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I don't know any current U.S. pricing, but as of last spring, my bariatric surgeon in Mexico was advertising revision surgery starting at $7200. Hopefully that gives you some kind of idea. -

Wow...you've done really well! I agree with the others that you'll feel better after a well deserved shopping trip. -
You'll be okay. No one is perfect!

I'm sorry to hear that as one should always be able to trust their parents with something like this. However, it is out in the open now. Expect people to judge you because the reality is that they will. It is up to you whether or not you choose to care.

Talk to him. I'm sure your husband is just looking out for your best interests...but if you're upset enough to post this then communicate that to him. Regarding the bread...you are going to get some tough love from us too!!!

It's the 3 week stall, very well discussed on the board if you do a quick search. -

If all else fails, an enema may be helpful. -
How rewarding! Congrats.
