I know you have mentioned vitamins, but have you tried high dose biotin (5,000-10,000 mcg)?

Not sure if you are able to take pills yet, but Tylenol PM (benadryl) has been helpful.

What you wish you would have known
AngelaWilliamsMD replied to jfzimmerman's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I wish I would have known that I would truly relearn how to eat again. Yes, the information is right in front of you, but doing it correctly is a different story! -
How exciting. I personally know of people that had sedentary jobs and went back to work within a few days. Good luck on your journey!

When did you start dieting before your surgery?
AngelaWilliamsMD replied to Savannah Lee's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my procedure done in Mexico. No pre-op diet required. -
TPN stands for total parenteral nutrition. It is a solution made up of fats/lipids, amino acids, vitamins, and electrolytes that is administered intravenously. It is reserved for severely malnourished patients that have exhausted other options for nutritional support.

As a fellow physician, I'd want to know about how many procedures they've completed and their complication rate! -

Deciding to keep my sleeve quiet....
AngelaWilliamsMD replied to Nikki Monroe's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I told my significant other and that's it. My friends and family think the near 40lb weight loss is due to a strict diet and exercise....which is technically the truth -

To do surgery or not to do?
AngelaWilliamsMD replied to beccaconaty87's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I'm a fellow PCOS sister. Despite the amount of weight you have to lose, it's going to be even harder due to our condition alone. I suggest you speak to a bariatric surgeon, but having the gastric sleeve was one of the best things I've ever done. Emotionally speaking, it helped me gain control of my body again. Your story weighs in heavily on my heart. I was 29 at the time of my surgery...we have much more living to do! -
No one is 100% perfect. Personally, I've been doing my VSG journey my own way and don't plan on looking back!

Going and coming back with no passport?
AngelaWilliamsMD replied to ashleyjunemitch's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
No, you need to have a passport at the border. I had my procedure done in Juarez, and they DO check. -
