Fell HARD off the wagon ????
kempermorris replied to kikicoates78's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I'm 7 months post op & have had no sugar. I was craving chocolate. Had a small chocolate bar & got it out of my system. Hopefully I'll go another 7 months before the craving returns. I walk & work out. Have lost 126 lbs. 74 more to go. If you fall off the wagon a lil just shake it off & get back on track. You'll be fine -
5 yrs is ridiculous. Find another doctor. I know every case is different. As soon as I finished all my appts they scheduled my surgery. Took about 3 or 4 months
-
It's a struggle waiting on insurance & jumping through hoops to make all the appts. But oh so worth it. The 2 week liquid diet is the hardest thing I've ever done. I lost 30 lbs by surgery date. I'm 7 months post op &-have lost 123 lbs. 77 more to go. Feeling great. Daily exercise &-eating healthy is the key. Make it a habit. You are fixing to change your life & feel so much better about yourself

Today has FINALLY ARRIVED!
kempermorris replied to myjourneyagain's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
@@sparksrn you're not getting enough fluids. 1 bottle is not enough. You can freeze them & sip on them throughout the day. Make sure you get all the protein required of you & increase your water intake to at least 4-bottles. They want you to drink 5. And get outside & walk if only for a few blocks. Every day you will get stronger Sugar free popsicles and fudgesicles are good too -
Today has FINALLY ARRIVED!
kempermorris replied to myjourneyagain's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Being on clear liquids is tough. I was in the hospital for 3 days. Couldn't wait to get home &-drink a protein shake. Make sure you get all your protein when you get home. It will promote healing &-give you energy. Congratulations on taking a big step to the new you. I'm 6 months post op & down 112 lbs. Still have 112 to go. Ask any questions. We've been through what you're fixing to go through. Time passes fast & you'll be eating again before you know it. -

kempermorris replied to Sinclairj75's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Congratulations!! You're doing great. I'm in the office for my check up today. I'm 5 1/2 months post op & have lost 110 lbs. Have another 100 to go. -
Drink an extra protein shake if you have to. Sugar free popsicles, sugar free jelly. You'll be on soft foods soon. I was on liquids for 1 month after surgery. 2 weeks before. Hardest thing I've ever done. But you CAN do this. The hunger should go away. Drink at least 3 protein shakes a day. Protein helps you heal & gives you energy. Stay Strong. Eating food at this stage would harm you. You made a decision to change your life & this is part of it. Take it one day at a time. You'll probably be on soft foods at the 2 week stage. Take all your supplements & drink your shakes. There's enough nutrition in your shakes to sustain you. Good Luck to you!! Sugar free jello not jelly
-
Time passes fast. Do what they tell you to do & don't cheat. The hard part is behind you. You'll be eating real food soon enough. I know it's hard but you can do it. I'm 5 months post op & have lost 108 lbs
