Hey I was sleeved on December 11 an started out at 256, now at 201. Almost at my first goal of 199. I feel like I'm a slow loser but I'm okay with it. I don't really have an ultimate goal but my doctors goal for me is 160. Keep up the good work!

I am 19 days post op and Im eating tuna, yogurts, eggs, any kind of soups, and of course shakes.

I was sleeved on 12/11 and looking to connect with people in my area. Like in the Raleigh or Fayetteville area in NC. Are there any meet & greats in this area.

Congrats ???? I was sleeved on 12/11 and feels so good to have the surgery over and done with!

I also had surgery on the 12/11 and was very nervous too. To be honest when I woke up I was still out of it. I would see and hear the nurses but wasn't able to speak. My throat was really sore from the breathing tube. The worst part for me, was that I was really nauseous due to the anesthesia. I would try to vomit and nothing would come up but the anesthesia doesn't sit well with me, so this might not happen to you. I was starting to feel a better that same evening but still very sore. And gas pains are real bad, so make sure to walk and walk as soon as you can even if it's at a turtle pace Good luck to you!

I was sleeved on 12/11 and today I started full liquids. When I drunk a chocolate premier protien it gave me real bad dirrahea. I was fine drinking these before surgery, I hope my body justs needs time to adjust. I really dont know the full feeling and I havent been hungry at all. But just stay positive, we will get through this.

I think you have made up your mind already and its the right choice for you. I was just sleeved on 12/11 and I chose the sleeve because like others, I did not like the fact of having a foregin object in my body and I just did not think I would lose the weight I needed with the lap band. Also I see a lot of people on here converting from lap band to sleeve due to erosion and slippage with the band. Good Luck to you on your new healthly journey

Lucky you @@tera1982 I had surgery on 12/11 and I have to be on liquids for 2 more weeks before I get to pureed foods.

I had surgury on Friday and every one of my incisons (I have 5) are bruised. But I have no staples just glue and on two incisions the glue is already gone.

I had my surgery Friday and had no drain.

Congrats! Best wishes to you! I was sleeved on Friday! You will do fine. Just remember to walk and walk as soon as they let you. It will help with the gas pains.

I'm on Day 2 of post op. This gas pain is no joke. I can't get comfortable to sleep but did manage to sleep 3 hours. I have a lot pain in the small incision on the right side, I had a hernia repaired that required stitches that I was unaware of going in to surgery. Right now I'm only worried about getting fluid in because I don't want to get dehydrated. Best wishes to everyone and I'm so thankful to have this site to come too ????

My surgery is the 11th! I live in North Carolina! Im very excited and a little nervous ????

I'm scheduled for the 11th too! I'm not really nervous now but very excited and so ready for it to get here!

Today is day 2 of pre op diet, my surgery is scheduled for December 11th. I haven't cheated either and I'm not really hungry but I just want to eat all the things that I can't have! ???? When is your surgery?

I start my pre op diet tomorrow, so I am trying out the shakes today and it is too sweet. I had to buy the Bariatric Advantage products at the request of my surgeon, so I have the vanilla and chocolate powder mixes. My question is, is there anything besides more Water to make them not so sweet??? TIA
