Thank you for thw suggestion! I asked the pharmacist. They were very helpful. I've had a headache all day that won't go away, so I ended up getting children's Tylenol liquid form. Hopefully it helps. I'll ask the surgeon if they have a list to avoid. I didn't get a packet on any of this or what to possibly expect. Trying to "wing" it the best I can.

My next appointment, the doctor will be sending me in for the blood work. Thank you Inner Surfer Girl for informing me about the NSAIDs! Does it label that on the headache bottles or do I google search for a list of them?

Conerned05, I didnt start foods until week 3. I did broth, water and popcycles. They told me I could do more but I didnt feel ready to. I stopped my meds two weeks before surgery and haven't been back on them. I'm feel good without them and don't plan going back to them as each one has nasty side effects that I would get. Both the bariatric doctor and surgeon have both told me to not take pills yet, so I havent even taken advil. You may be having a reaction to the meds they have you on. While in the hospital they had me on morphin. It didnt take the pain away and I had a reaction of hives and itching. They wanted to keep me on the morphin and I told them no. That is something you might want to discuss with your doctor.

Thank you for responding! I drink 2 to 2.5 Premier Protien shakes a day, on 5oz greek yogurt, and half a can of soup. I'm getting between 36 to 48 oz of water a day. I am taking a multivitamin daily. I havent started solids and have been told to stay away from bananas. I've been positive before the surgery and 90% positive after. I do get sown at family and friend gatherings that surround food. I have tried to find ways to express this to them, but no luck getting them to understand. I'm now learning how to deal with emotions instead of shoving food down my throat. Never thought the emotion part would be difficult. Miss Mac, thank tou for menttioning the tummy talk back! Mine started doing that four days ago each time I wat my soup. It came out of nowhere. Is that normal? So far I'm so grateful I've been able to do this! I'm 1/3 down to my goal.

I'm new. Just joined but have been reading the forums for a little while now. I havent always been big. I use to play sports and be very active. At 19 i went through a very traumatic event and gained over 100 pounds in 3 months. Since then weight loss has been a major struggle. While pregnant with my daughter i lost about 50 pounds but after her birth and between now, I have gained another 100 pounds. Ive been working with the bariatric doctor and nutritionist for a year and on March 18, 2015 I finally had the sleeve done. I had lost 20 in the year of working to loose the weight. Week one I lost 11 pounds. Week 2, I lost 9 pounds. Week 3, I lost 7 pound. Week 4, I didnt lose. Week 5, I've lost 4pounds. Ive been taking pictures with my weekly weigh ins, but dont see a difference yet. I am walking 2to3 times a day for 15 minutes. Do 3 flights of stairs 6 times a day. I also am starting my resistant band training. My legs have been cramped for a week and some days my stomach feels like I've just had the surgery. My friends say I'm being too physical too fast. I am afraid if I stop, then I'll gain and not be able to get up and go again. I hope to find lots of others that I can relate to as right now I feel alone, but I continue to put a smile on my face and pretend everything is alright when I'm around my friends and family.
