tiggerbug replied to ImBringingLisaBack RNY's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I don't know that anything g will not sit well with you because technically it all should be fine The only problem is it will be very hard to find out what you can or cannot tolerate if it's all mixed together like that. -
Im 8 weeks out today. I feel like I slept more in the first 2 weeks than I was awake. After that I just did a little more each day until I felt human again... I have been back to work for 3 weeks now and feel fine.

I have been on regular food no seeds, beans or nuts since 3 weeks post op. Haven't really had any problems except one time when I tried to eat a bananna. I thought I was going to die from the pain I my stomach. The Dr's office told me to wait and try again later and said with chicken to eat less and thighs because it's more moist and be sure to remove the skin. Other than that I really haven't had problems except not getting my lunch soon enough after I went back to work, so that made me sick. I had to get a note from the dr. So I could take 1st lunch. All in all doing good at 5 weeks out. -
When I was on the pureed diet a day wanted something for a treat I made sugar free chocolate pudding with 1%milk and put my protein powder in it.....doesn't change the taste and gets some of your protein down also

So how are the early august surgeries doing?? My son and I are getting better day by day. For those further out how long did it take you to get at least most of the protein in because it seems really really hard right now. -
