It's now 3am and I am feeling better. I've taken a few walks and bathroom trips, I did not have a cath! I am on Dilaudid and of course that helps. Anyone considering this surgery, don't be scared. So far, so good.

Great news! I got sleeved today and I am feeling ok too! I didn't wake up with buyers remorse either. I am so excited! Glad your doing well.

Had mine this morning! So far so good. Pain but tolerable. Gas but tolerable. Good luck everyone!

I am in my room and doing ok! Surgery was started a tad late. But at 9:46 they told my husband things were ok and I was in recovery. Honestly, so far so good. Pain of course but not too bad. Pain meds are our friends. I am a little bummed I didn't get a pain pump/button. Gotta wait on the nurses. Gas isn't too bad, hope it stays that way. I'll update more later! I want everyone to get the scoop that's planning on doing this!

That seems outrageous! I am self pay and mine is $12,600 total. I am so sorry! Don't give up!!

I am getting so nervous! Friday @ 7:30am!! I am on day 6 of my preop diet. I just want it over with so the nerves will go away!

My vsg is June 12th...I'm freaking out lol! I know I need it and won't back out but I get fearful about my recovery.

I am obsessing too! My surgery is on 6/12 and I feel like it's coming up so fast! It's all I can think about!

I am so worried about life Post op. Does anyone else worry they will fail? That's my biggest fear at the moment. I've failed so many times before. I worry I won't be able to do what others have done. I love food and I am scared it will still control me after this. Is this a normal fear?

I'm scheduled for 6/12 and I have days I am excited and days I think I am completely crazy for doing this!

I am a June sleever and I feel the same way!! I just want it done and over, just so the fear and anxiety will leave!

I would call the surgeons office and ask.

I have a 8 day pre op diet. 5 days is two shakes, and a healthy dinner (1000 calories a day)...then the last 3 days are clear liquid.

Oh cool we have the same date!! I am with you, we have to do this and get over the fears!

I am scheduled for June 12th! I know I need this but I am so scared!! I keep having doubts. I know I need it and have to do it. One minute I'll be excited for the future then the next minute I think I'm crazy for doing this! Is this normal? Do you other June sleevers feel this way? By the way, this is my first post I am a 38 year old mother of three, and have been overweight since I was 9! My parents have weight related health issues and I don't want that for my future. That's why I need this and am choosing this!
