    Thanks for this, Cleos Mom, I am very sorry for your loss. My docs have discussed the issue that a sleeve reduces the surgical alternatives for esophageal cancer if it occurs. Having barretts was a precursor to your husbands cancer? But he had not had WLS, correct? thanks again for sharing your story.

    I have a vivosmart as well. I've had fitbits before but I like this as you can shower/swim with it too. And it gives me messages and allows me to phone screen. I'm craigcu there as well.

    I've had barretts for years, been treated for it with acid blockers. Now planning for the sleeve and my doctors are cautious (one doc wont do it, another will). I know how to keep up with the barretts and watch for progression and take steps (had an ablatement already). Does a sleeve increase GERD risk/acid production? Or is it same level of aci production, just smaller pouch to contain the acid?

    I've always recovered in a recliner from previous ab surgeries. I can recommend buying a recliner with a 30 day guarantee then taking it back after about 20 days. Did that for my wife's last surgeries. I know, not good karma, but when in pain and poor, gotta do what you can.

    Tried grape frost, the melon and finished the both off, very good cold. Fruit punch was terrible. I'm going to order the smaller 4 packs through amazon.
