  1. Can these be eaten in Phase 3 post VSG?
  2. I am just starting Ohase 3 post VSG on 4/14/15. MY question is can I eat the Bari bread made from cream cheese?

I am not sure what Bari bread is - but I did not have bread for a very long time post surgery I am 1 year out, and very very rarely have bread. Bread expands in your tummy, which can cause upset, and is not a good source of nutrients.

  3. Has anyone noticed being cold after VSG? Im in day 11 and so very cold, goofy since I'm old and usually I am so hot.

Absolutely. It gets better, but part of what's going on is as your metabolism is shifting enormously in reaction to your surgery & dietary change, your production of body heat is going funky for the time being. Once you get into a groove things will normalize.

In August in beach weather I've worn a jacket. Turned the heat on. One down comforter, one regular comforter, 2 electric blankets, satin sheets, eventually you do get warm.

Thanks Smye for the explanation, that makes sense. How long does it take to normalcy?

  4. Has anyone found any fact of hairloss after VSG, and, if so is there a way to prevent it?

I don't know when you had your surgery but I'd be cautious and like @samuelsmom said that might be kinda heavy.

My surgery was April 14, 2015. Yes, I know the soup is a bit heavy and I will eat with great caution. I'm eating out for the first time post surgery and after checking the restaurants menu the beer cheese soup is the only thing on the menu. I do not care for French onion soup and I have seen on this forum that a few have eaten the broth. Thank you for your help.

I was allowed cream soups in the full liquid stage, so I think that soup will work for you. Have fun dining out!
