hey larry! that is really weird in my opinion that they would tell you to drink carnation, that is full of so much sugar. We didnt eat for the first week, we drank protein supplements and ate things like jello and broth. Then the next week we ate soft things and then each week after was just like a different progression of food. That lasted for about 5 weeks. Oh thanks I am down 24lbs and I feel great, slow and steady wins the race!!!!!! Lady Lap Band
