carnation instand breakfast in blue boox,sugar free it is great tasting ,i use it with simplt smart milk ..12 grams for 8 oz. protein,,, you can mocro wave it in a.m i heat up milk choclate it tastes like a very rich hot choclate,, but after 6 days it gets boring,, i am having trouble getting protein down????

Hey girl I was banded on the 7 th too, i can/t drink the protein drinks i have 4 oz in a.m ,and 4 oz at night a little jello and some water i can/t even deink anymore yet , hope it chanfes soon i want to do good

i am having same problem i am downing 12 oz of protein shake a day about 24 gram protein, i am so bloated and full i don/t want anything else i was nervous about fluid restrictions,and protein

hey did u have trouble drinking all those shakes i was banded 2 days ago i am now feeling so so stuffed after 4 oz of shakes i can onlydrink 2 a day ,i am hoping it gets better soon ?let me know ok larry -
hey can i ask you a question?? did u have trouble drinking all your proteins after surgery, i am drinking like 4 oz at time after second one i am so full i am nervous ???did u have trouble or is it me?

yes i was banded everything went well, i am still uncomfortable but it/s only 2 days, have u been to the meetings yet????

i am doing good ,got in at 545 a,m monday got home at 3 pm ,i took percosetes and went sleep,had rough night,but doing a little better now thanks

hey sorry i am doing ok thanks,surgery went well, i went in for 5.45 a.m got home at 3 p.m took 2 percosetes went sleep, i am a little sore,but doing good thanks ..

hey girl congrads, is oatmeal considered a liquid, if dr. told u to it is ok, my surgery is tomorow the 7tth, i was told liquids only for 2 weeks then i go to mushies,,,, for 2 weeks . how are you doing i am nervous now but happy...where did u get it done larry

hey tina I am glad your doing good, i was happy to hear that. I am going in monday at 5,45 a.m wow nice early start i want it over,,, we will do great i am doing it for myself ,so i cam be there for for grand kids, i am in pain now because they stopped my ibuprofen , i was on 800 mg 3 times a day my knees are killing me....i will get through it thoughthanks larry

hey girl i got the call, i have to be at hospital monday at 5.45 a.m i am glad to do it early, so only liquids for next day and then no thing after midnight. rhanks for support

i can tell you i went to emerson hospital to there meeting 2 years ago i was not impressed, they want to just do surgery, believe me the doctors and staff at weight center are grest people, but yo u need to do all the tests or procedures before they agree to srgery

i don/t think they would deny you unless there was a reason, they do test to make sure u qualify i agree, but they always have your best interest first , i had to go through psych evals,dieticians,physicals, and training ,physical fitness ,it is a great experience and now i amm ready to get banded,

i waitd 3 month for an appointment after intro meeting, it takes about 10 to 11 months if all goes well. I am going for lap band monday, i went to meeting last january of 2009, so it took me 11 months.don/t give up they are a good group of people.

are you going to intro meeting??? i went there it was great. Why do you thinkrhe dr. won/t let you have the band...?
