Yes im definitely noticing a slow down. My surgery was 4/20/15Me to my surgery was 4/13/15 but now I have to push it as I will be 51 this year.

Hi all sorry I haven't kept you all abreast to the itching that I had suffered with. Just a reminder I had the surgery in April and began itching about 4 days after my hospital stay. I spoke with my surgeon who then informed me that it could have been from the pain meds so I then spoke with my PC doc., and he stated to take my allergy pills and use itch cream. It did last a couple of months but has ended. I went through that but don't at all regret having the surgery because of all the other factors to date. I'm no longer hiding and still have more to go. Good luck everyone, please don't regret having the surgery as there is still so much more positive things to come.

@@HopefulMe2016, I hurt that you are unable to talk with any of your BFF's or share your true feelings with them enough that they would be understanding. I will add that maybe you should kinda drop some ideas of how you feel to gage how they think of the idea of WLS. Talk about the issues you have been experiencing. -Maybe because we tend to put on errs that everything is okay pple don't know and that's when judgement comes in. I use to be like you and realize they won't know until I speak up and out (break out of my own shell). -I do feel your pain and just as its mentioned above we are here as supporters of one another.I do pray your strength through this journey. Also I'm glad to read that you are receiving counseling for one thing as this journey will allow you to open on other areas of your circumstances. Congratulations on the beginning of the new you.

Not gaining, that's the good news but have slowed down. I am 71 lbs down from date of surgery and 86 lbs from this time last year. Woohoo!!!
