April Sleevers! Where are you at in your Journey?
Applebootom9 replied to CandyCrushVSG's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@CapeMom3 There are many brands out there and trust me after surgery your taste buds are going to be different so prepare yourself carefully. What you like now you may not like after surgery. Watch the sugar content in your shakes as I have found for me after surgery anything that had a sugar content of more then 3 grams was to sweet. Good luck to you. -

@@RockinRobin59 I'm pretty much in the same boat but had to come to some realizations. First and foremost i have lost about 70 lbs and still need to lose about 33 more lbs for my weight goal achievement by my surgiversary April 13, 2016. Just like you I don't track on paper but I also have stayed realistic about the things I have and Have not been doing correctly and made the decision to make my first New Years resolution for 2016 (Its been yrs since I've made one). 1. Stay true to who I want to be 2. Stick to the choices that are going to make me a better person as well as the person I want to be! 3. BELIEVE: Through all things GOD is in Control. 4. FAITH: I can get where GOD want me to be. 5. TRUTH+HONESTY: No Explanation Needed. Through this journey I have not been true to myself, I was still running. I'm no longer running and have relaxed and got back on track: Working out, using Protein and drinking more water. To start 2016, I believe the brain has finally caught up with what my body wants and need. I guess what I'm saying is recognize your truth and the rest will follow. I wish you the best and believe you will meet your goal by March 1st.

@@DeezJeanz Thank you so much for your words of encouragement, this means so much to me as I have been stalling now for what seems like the last month. But your absolutely right in that "God wont give us more than we can handle" and he knows the next moves we need to take to continue in this journey. Again thank you for your wise words of encouragement and God Bless on your journey. -

Applebootom9 replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
@@jj7481 I am in the same boat it is time for me to forge ahead as this is going to be my Sweet '16 year. I have not made a new years resolution in years and feel this is the year for me to begin again with 2015 allowing me to have a new lease on life physically. My plan is to start with a new weight training success STOP WITH PROCRASTINATION! Also I have been now looking to start with a new career and getting my resume out so that I can go back to work,(laid off since winter of 2013). And looking to get involved in other business aspects. I no longer have weight as a crutch Thank God, anymore. I do feel life again
