Hello kimmy2477. I was sleeved on April 27th at Little company of mary in evergreen park. Its been a struggle but well worth it. I am looking forward to my journey. And I wish you well in yours.

You guys are so motivating. I was sleeved on 4/27 and I am only down 23 pounds. Its so discouraging. I am stalled so soon after my surgery. I have been constipated for the past week, I have such a hard time getting more than 20oz of water down a day, and protein is even harder. I'm frustrated and depressed. Nothing is going right. -
Is there any guide to how much weight you are to lose?

Be patient. I am 2 weeks post op. When I came home from the hospital I was actually heavier then when I went in. At my week check up I was told that after surgery you really don't want to drink anything, so it is not uncommon for the Dr to run your IV faster than nornal so you don't become dehydrated when you get home. It will pass. You will start to see the weight come off. -
I'm 2 weeks post op and I'm going crazy with the liquids. I had my week check up and a nutrition class and me and the other sleevers who had their surgery on the same day were totally deflated when the nutritionist told up that we couldn't advance to full liquids until June 9th!!! Our surgery was on April 27th. This is crazy. Everything that I have read on the internet and in blogs say otherwise. Has anyone else had to wait so long??
