I wish I was hungry. The thought of eating makes me more nauseous than I already am. It's so strange how we all react so differently. I have to force myself to eat, and a few bites in and I am ready to hurl. I am using a toddler spoon and am lucky if I get in an Oz of food before I throw in the towel. My surgery was also 11/16.

I've often wondered if it's the vitamins giving me diarrhea too as I also have had it since I started taking them pre op...

It is great that you aren't nauseous! I'm jealous!!! When was your surgery? A lot of folks go 4 or 5 days with no bowel movements. Personally, I had diarrhea the day after surgery...blah. It sounds like you are doing just fine though.Thank you. I had surgery on 11/19 how about you. I was just discharged from hospital and had only a jello again this morning and it went down fine. Ok im going to keep a look out on my bm.I had surgery 11/16. I'm still very nauseous. Also in some incision pain, though the only one that hurts is the one the stomach came out of. I've also had continuous diarrhea. Dr told me to stop Protein shakes but there is no way I will get all my protein in if I do that so I am very confused.

My surgery was Monday and feel the exact same way. I didn't eat at all in the hospital. Hang in there.

I talked to the surgeon today. He is ordering me Zofran. I am drinking enough Water... He said some people just get hit harder with nausea. Hang in there and call the Dr if you need something for it. My surgery was monday, and 5 days later I am so sick to my stomach I had to call.

Hang in there. Mine was Monday and I've had it rough too. This morning I woke up with less pain. Just called the Dr due to how severe my nausea is. Hoping for a prescription of some kind.

I haven't called but will most likely call tomorrow. I don't want to eat anything. I am because I know I have to but would rather not.

Mine is Sami M Sleeve. It stands for "Small Angry Monster Inside" Me Sleeve. I was just sleeved Monday and this thing is monster!

They gave me anti nausea meds in the hospital. Didn't send me home with anything. I just had another wave but I was able to breathe thru it.

I don't either. I think we just need to be patient with ourselves. I envy all the people with no complications and who were able to stop their pain med. I am definitely not one of them.

I am. But today it was at least dry. Hoping for better feelings every day.

It's taking me an hour to drink my protein shake

You have more than me ( it's 11AM here). I have has 33 Oz of water, 12 of them came from my protein shake. I'm really pushing to drink. It's not easy for me being so nauseous

You sound like you are doing great smcbee. Just keep an eye on the heart rate and don't delay seeing the Dr if you get any other symptoms. I am so nauseous it's horrible. I did enjoy my protein shake today though so I'll take it.

No drain here. I drank 12 ox protein drink this morning. Took an hour but went down well. Also dry heaving in the mornings. Blah

I'm still semi miserable. By far worst surgery I have ever had and this is #8 for me. I am really concerned with getting my fluids and protein in. Your heart can also race from pain. Just keep a close eye on it.

Keep an eye on it. Fast heart rate could be the sign of a leak. I also had my surgery Monday. I'm not home yet due to the sever nausea and vomiting. I have no hungry or desire to drink. How are you doing at home?

I started thinking about yoga the other day. And how peaceful it seems. I think that will be my first adventure.

Count me in. Check in at 11:15 on 11/16. I'm counting that as a good sign!
